Set several generations past ours. Humanity has discovered the existence of extraterrestrial lifeforms, however, as feared, found to be aggressive and an existential threat towards mankind.

Tentopichal Pharmacy Cooperative has monopolised research into the biological study of these lifeforms, one where they hope to utilize their research to supplement their profitable medical industry even further.  

Said lifeforms are kept sterilised, yet with functioning vitals to fully explore their biological capabilities. One of the most intriguing of these discoveries is what researchers have dubbed an 'Instantiation', a genetic material exclusives to the lifeforms that breaks the barrier between life and death.

This is not without costs, there has already been several instances of these creatures overcoming these sterilisations and killing everyone in the research facility they're stationed in.

One of these instances, down on his luck Tentopichal Grunt Jin Wangfeng takes on offer by the company to extract a possibly still alive Grunt stationed at an overrun facility. Save him and recieve your pay. Go.
